We had a Relief Society meeting today packing up shoeboxes to send to Africa. It was really fun! It really reminded me of the lessons we have where you hear about the Restoration sisters providing real relief to people when they were sick or working on the temple or something. We don't seem to do a lot of that these days, so I think it was a great idea. We did about 10 boxes in the hour we met during the day, and there were still loads of items left to be packed. There's an evening session too so I'm sure there will be lots more.
Ben was a little star- he was all cute and smiley, flirting with the ladies while we were working. Then when we broke to eat he fell asleep and didn't wake up until I had just placed the last piece of cake in my mouth! Perfect! He's getting bigger, such a cutie.
He is a lovely little boy! He should however have woken before you put any of the cake in your mouth !
